Uniform Requirements
Cub Scouts have two types of proper Scouting attire:
“Class A” uniform (blue or tan* Scout shirt with proper insignia, neckerchief and slide)
-
Tigers wear an orange neckerchief
-
Wolves wear a gold neckerchief
-
Bears wear a blue neckerchief
-
Webelos wear a plaid neckerchief
*Tan Shirts may only be worn by Webelos; all Tiger, Wolf & Bears must be in the Blue uniform shirt.
Required patches: Suwannee River Area Council patch, red numbers 3 0 2, Den Number and World scout crest emblem. See your scout handbook for instructions on where to place patches, or visit the Uniform section from scouting.org.
“Class B” uniform, which is the orange pack T-Shirt.
It is the family’s responsibility to obtain uniform shirts for your Scout. If financial assistance is needed, please speak to your Den Leader or the Cubmaster. You may also choose to purchase an official Cub Scout webbed belt, which are relatively inexpensive and can be worn for the Scout to display the “belt loop” awards he’ll earn.
